Sequal App, a registered business name of Cybertech Solutions, respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how rights holders can report infringing content and how we respond.
1. We do not pre-screen user media
Users add their own media (audio, video and images) and may stream third-party content. We do not, and are not able to, review or verify that media for copyright or other rights before it is used. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any media they add (see section 5 of our Terms & Conditions). This policy gives rights holders a way to report content they believe infringes their rights.
Separately, the exercise videos, images and other catalog media that Sequal App itself provides within the Service are owned by us or our licensors, carry a Sequal App © watermark, and are licensed for use inside the Service only (see section 10 of the Terms & Conditions).
2. Reporting infringing content
If you believe content stored or shared through the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice to contact@sequal.app with the subject line “Copyright Takedown”. Please include:
- your name and contact details;
- identification of the work or rights you say are infringed;
- identification of the allegedly infringing content, with enough detail for us to locate it (for example a shared link or file);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on its behalf; and
- your electronic or physical signature.
Submitting a knowingly false or misleading notice may expose you to liability.
3. How we respond
When we receive a valid notice, we will review it and may remove or disable access to the relevant content, and/or contact the user who added it. We may also take action against accounts that repeatedly infringe, including suspension or termination.
4. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or that you have the rights to use it, you may send a counter-notice to contact@sequal.app explaining the basis for your belief, with your contact details and signature. We will consider counter-notices in good faith.
