This Refund Policy applies to the Sequal Pro subscription for Sequal App, a registered business name of Cybertech Solutions. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. The app is free to try
You can use Sequal App on your device for free, with no payment, before deciding whether to subscribe to cloud sync. We encourage you to try it first.
2. 14-day refund window
Sequal Pro subscriptions ($5/month or $36/year USD) include a 14-day refund window. If you request a refund within 14 days of a charge and have not made substantial use that would make a refund unreasonable, we will refund that charge. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
3. How to request a refund
Subscriptions are processed by Polar as Merchant of Record. You can request a refund through Polar's checkout/receipt flow, or by emailing us at contact@sequal.app and we will help.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling is not the same as a refund. After cancellation, your cloud data is kept for a 30-day grace period (see the Data & Retention Policy), and your local library stays on your device.
5. Your Australian Consumer Law rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is not delivered with due care and skill, is not fit for purpose, or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the 14-day window.
